Camila Falcão was born in São Paulo, Brasilien. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts. In parallel to her work on award-winning movies, her photographs were published at websites such as British Journal of Photography, El País, PHmuseum and Vice, also in magazines like i-D, Switch and ZUM.
She was selected to be part of the Tiradentes Photography Festival, the 15. edition of Salão Nacional de Fotografia Pérsio Galembeck and of the Monumental Photo Festival. She was part of the exhibition
at ARDE - Encuentro de Fotografía and Feminismos y Derechos Humanos, and she was also one of the finalists of the competition Portrait of Humanity (2019) and of the Prêmio Nacional de Fotografia Pierre Verger (2019). She is member of Women Photograph and Native Foundation.
