Daniela Olave is Visual Artist graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana from Bogotá, Columbia.
Her photography is built on themes linked to tradition and memory interwoven between reality and fiction. Her work has been exhibited in Colombia, Mexico, France, Germany and Spain. She is currently part of the Native Foundation team of photographers that distributes their work internationally.
In 2019 she was the winner of Luis Gayol Prize in Galicia and a finalist for the Hahnnemühle Photocompetition in Germany, she was nominated for the 6x6 Worldpress Global Talent Program.
In 2018 she was the winner of the Masterclass Historias Probables in the Festival Veintinueve Trece.
She was the winner of the Roberto Villagráz Scholarship of the EFTI school in Madrid among more than 1200 participants worldwide.
In 2016, she was the winner of the call for best photographic portfolios in Colombia granted by Revista Enfoque Visual with the photographic series Instantes. And also was winner of the international image festival - FINI in Mexico.
